College memories rekindled back..
Watched SOK over the weekend. a really dissapointing movie. cant believe that the director is from the gautham factory. anyways there was consolation on two grounds.
a) bhumika wearing a churidhar that too white one..
b) the college setting in coimbatore..
these two things really brought back nostalgic memories. For reasons which are strange and absurd i absolutely adore and love bhumika. i hated her in the second half where she looked anaemic.how i wish there was a bhumika replica in my company !!( if wishes were horses..i know what you people are getting at..still..). memories of Tea bought from the roadside tea stall outside my college for 1.5 and samosa for 1.25 during the 10:50 are still freshly etched in mymind. the samosa was onion samosa. at times when we had the extra luxury of a few more tad of notes, we used to take a majestic strut and go and have cold coffee at KB. andha naal nyabagam...
in my PG i would say i had equally fond memories but not of those kind which i can repeatedly brag about to everyone. is time travel possible? i seriously wanna re-live my 4 years of CIT life and try to make up for some lost time and some bad misunderstandings and minor altercations with some close friends.
CENTRAL theater does not exist now in coimbatore but that was the theater which gave us a feeling as if we were demi gods as they screened only english and hindi movies and going there meant that we were the dudes. ( not denying the fact that they ocassionally ran X-rated movies) .
Now was inspired by the fact that surya had written down a diary during the college days. i started blogging only after i left CIT and i think i need to jot down some memories of people , activities, locations, funny quips and what not else. some might be happy some sorrowful but nevertheless it has been an enriching experience at CIT.
this post was written in impulse after watching sok and another terrible attempt on continuing to blog. but i think now there are lotta activities happening that i think i can really write about some interesting stuff..
for instance every TDH is getting married and that itself will qualify for a comedy of errors and humorous posts.i get reminded of the serial Mr. yogi whenevere i think of marriages. the frivolous reasons of people rejecting others or the eligibility criteria set up for marriage is too humorous.
i know its been too arbit..if u have been reading till this instant i presume u were totally jobless and my apologies for wasting your vetti time with this vetti post. will try to write something meaningful..
